Cumberland Council has been improving the road leading up to the Castlerigg stone circle, at Eleventrees in Keswick, with pothole repairs, edge strengthening and road patching.
Cumberland Council has announced that it is investing £179,000 in a resurfacing project at Loweswater. The resurfacing project will involve the use of high-quality materials and modern techniques to ensure that the road is durable and long-lasting.
Local people are being asked for their views on Cumberland Council highways and transport services – from the condition of roads and footpaths to the quality of cycling facilities. Their answers will be compared with the views of other members of the public across England & Scotland, thanks to the National Highways and Transport Public Satisfaction survey.
