Teaching Assistant

Required as soon as possible

Fixed-Term until 19^th July 2024 due to pupil numbers

22.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri (8:30am to 1pm)

The Governors of St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School invite applications for the post of Teaching Assistant.  The successful applicant will be required to work as a Teaching Assistant in one of our KS2 classes.  We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

Skills and qualifications required:

•           NVQ 3 or equivalent in Education or Children & Young People

•           Experience of working on a one to one basis with a child

•           A commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people

•           Good communication skills

•           The ability to contribute to planning, monitoring and assessment of pupils; assisting the class teacher

•           The ability to work together with and support team members and children

•           Be resilient, flexible, patient and the ability to work under pressure
