School Cook - Level 2

The Governors, Headteacher, staff, and children of Lanercost Church of England Primary School seek to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic school cook to join our hard-working and committed team.

We are looking to appoint a school cook to create, prepare and cook a three- week rolling menu within our school kitchen. The main duties will include all aspects of food preparation, food service, kitchen hygiene and other duties associated with the running of the kitchen and food service operation. This includes ensuring a high level of hygiene and health and safety is maintained in all areas of work.    

The hours of work will be 9am – 1pm -  term time  plus 1 week out of term

You will be joining a Staff Team that is committed, welcoming, supportive and friendly. We are a small, community-minded church school committed our children and their families, supporting them to make healthy choices that will last them a lifetime.
