We have an exciting opportunity working with the central Finance team to support the delivery and implementation of our strategic and operational financial plans and objectives and ensure all our academies/schools and budget holders can access an effective service.

37 hours per week, full year

This is a very varied and demanding role with scope for development and you will be exposed to a variety of financial tasks, working within statutory financial guidelines and requirements.

You will be expected to contribute to developments in our finance service offering to our academies/schools and build effective professional working relationships with employees at all levels.

Experience of working in finance is preferred for this role, but strong communication, organisation and IT skills and an enthusiastic, proactive, professional approach are equally important in this very busy and demanding role.

The ideal candidate will:

•    Be able to work on own initiative, think independently and be creative in contributing to a supportive environment where you can learn new skills. 
•    Be a strong team player with the ability to work on their own initiative and make judgements within the boundaries of the role. 
•    Demonstrate personal integrity, high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
