Senior Teaching Assistant  / Higher Level Teaching Assistant 

Start date: Monday 30th September 2024 until 31st August 2025

PCD7 - PCD8ii £26,421 - £29,777( A) per annum pro rata (FTE 37 hpw) term time only plus 1 week INSET

27.5 hrs per week fixed term while funding allows.  There is the option of additional hours within our wrap around care (up to 12.75 hours per week) and Midday Supervisor 2.5 hours per week (both on a separate contracts at PCD3 £23,151 per annum pro rata – this includes the living wage supplement £12.00 per hour) to be discussed at interview.

Bridekirk Dovenby CE Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Teaching Assistant or Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to teach and support classes across our happy and thriving school. We are looking for someone who is energetic, passionate and enthusiastic about teaching and learning to join our friendly, motivated and supportive team. 

We are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner who:
• Is able to teach and support whole class sessions, lead small group interventions and provide 1:1 support
• Has a passion for working with children both indoors and outside
• Has experience of working with SEND
• Has the skill to encourage independent learning amongst all pupils
• Can help create a stimulating and imaginative classroom environment
• Has high expectations of both themselves and pupils
• Works well as part of a team, being flexible and highly motivated
• Has excellent Maths and English skills
