Frizington Nursery School & Preschool are looking to employ a permanent Childcare Practitoner who is friendly, enthusiastic and passionate about working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage. This post will require you to work in our Preschool Classroom which caters for children from the ages of 9months to 3 years old and will commence as soon as possible.
PCD3 £23,151 per annum pro rota, ( this includes the living wage supplement – hourly rate of £12.00) Full Year Position. 25hrs per week, overtime will be available, however we will consider applications for part-time hours 16+.
Cumberland Recruitment Incentive Pilot :
This job is advertised under the Cumberland Recruitment Incentive pilot, new recruits will receive a £1,000 bonus shortly after they start their first role in childcare, or if they return to a childcare role after a gap of at least six months.
The suitable candidate must have:
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent (or working towards Level 2)
• GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
The successful candidate must also be able to:
• Work constructively as part of a team
• Liaise effectively with staff and parents
• Promote inclusion of all pupils within the Early Years classrooms
• Show initiative and hold high expectations for pupils
• Display a professional attitude at all times and desire to continue their professional development
• Demonstrate their experience of working in the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Have excellent communication skills
