Kitchen Team Leader

Kitchen Team Leader (25 hours per week)

The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and friendly Kitchen Team Leader to provide meals from our on-site kitchen.  This would include preparing and serving meals for approximately 25 children, maintaining hygiene in the school canteen, complying with School Food Standards and Health and Safety Regulations, supervising dining arrangements and actively encouraging healthy eating. We would want the successful applicant to enjoy food and cooking wonderful meals within budget and to be part of our school – making packed lunches for school trips and cakes for special occasions! Whilst paid at the team leader rate, this role is mainly working on your own

The hours of work would be 9am until 2pm Monday to Friday, term time only.  This is a permanent position due to start Monday 4th November 2024.

Applicants should hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and Allergens and be able to demonstrate experience or passion for cooking.
