Teaching Assistant

Start date- as soon as possible

20 hours per week 9am-1pm Monday to Friday term time only
fixed term until July 2025 due to budgetary reasons, with a possibility of an extension into the next academic year.

Ashfield Junior School are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 5 pupil 
within the classroom.

We are looking for someone with the following skills and qualities:

•    Enjoys working with children
•    Can use own initiative when supporting pupils
•    Is confident to deliver small group interventions and catch ups when required
•    Is nurturing, caring and patient
•    Has a willingness to access training
•    Can work alongside colleagues and has a good sense of humour
