5 hours per week – Mon to Fri (12:30pm – 1:30pm)

Salary £23,893 pro rata, per annum actual salary £2,763 per annum

The Governors of St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School invite applications for the post of Teaching Assistant.  The successful applicant will be required to work 5 hours per week on a one to one basis with a child.  

Skills and qualifications required:
•    NVQ 3 or equivalent in Education or Children & Young People
•    Experience of working on a one to one basis with a child 
•    A commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young 
           people
•    Good communication skills
•    The ability to contribute to planning, monitoring and assessment of pupils;  
           assisting the class teacher
•    The ability to work together with and support team members and children
•    Be resilient, flexible, patient and the ability to work under pressure
