 Post Title: Early Years Practitioners / Teaching Assistant

PCD Grade 5 £25,183 FTE per annum pro-rata, term time, 34.5 hours – Fixed Term until July 2025

Required to start as soon as possible.
 
 The Trustees of Great Corby School would like to appoint an inspiring individual to join our Early Years team at Great Corby School and Nursery to help us create an environment full of curiosity and wonder. We are looking for
•    Creativity and passion
•    A relevant and recognised Level 3 Qualification or equivalent 
•    Experience in Early Years Settings, particularly 3–5-year-olds.
•    Strong organisational skills
•    Strong sense of awareness and willingness to learn
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    A team player
•    Experience and understanding of the implementation of EYFS
Key Responsibilities
•    To work in partnership with parents and carers
•    Working 1:1 on and small group work
•    Assist in ensuring the environment provides a safe, happy and stimulating environment for individual children and enables them to meet their full potential.
•    To observe, plan and evaluate appropriately for children using the EYFS curriculum for prime and specific areas of learning.
•    Maintain accurate and effective children’s records, using formative and summative assessments.
•    Undertake a shared responsibility for health, safety and cleanliness throughout the nursery.
•    Part of this role will involve safeguarding responsibilities, including reporting any safeguarding concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Team.
