Midday Supervisor 6.15 hours per week (term time only)

A vacancy has arisen in our school for a Midday Supervisor to work as part of a team to supervise pupils in designated areas of the school during the lunch break and to ensure their safety, welfare and general conduct through appropriate application of the school's policies and procedures.

 

  • Duties will include preparing children for the lunchtime break by the supervision of washing hands, escorting children to and from the hall (where necessary), assisting during meal times, cleaning up tables etc, developing children’s table manners, supervising children in the playground, dealing with behaviour incidents in line with school policy, dealing with minor first aid / incidents and to be aware of the fire drill and other health and safety procedures.

Previous experience of working within a school, or with children, is desirable but not essential. Training will be given where required.

Uniform will be provided by the school.
