When to report someone
We are committed to preventing and detecting benefit fraud and work closely with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Examples of benefit fraud are people who:
- work but do not declare this when they claim benefit
- claim as a single person but actually live with a partner
- claim from an address but do not live there
- do not declare their full income or savings when they claim benefit.
