You will need to apply for a pleasure boat licence if you are hiring out pleasure crafts to carry 12 or less passengers. This includes:
- motorboats
- rowing boats
- canoes
- dinghies
- sailboards
- paddleboards
All boats are checked yearly by an inspector.
