Forecast: Bright spells and the odd light shower this afternoon, perhaps wintry over the highest ground. Dry with clear spells through this evening and much of the night, allowing RSTs to fall below zero with the risk of hoar frost in parts. Cloud amounts increasing from the northwest from the early hours of the night ahead of a spell of rain, initially falling as light sleet with the brief chance of a snow flurry over the highest ground. There is the risk of icy stretches where precipitation falls on sub-zero road surfaces. Increasingly breezy. Cloudy with outbreaks of rain tomorrow morning, sleety over the highest roads.
