Emergencies and urgent queries during office hours should go to the local office.  

Outside office hours, at weekends and bank holidays, the Emergency Duty Team will advise and respond to emergencies.

Please note that not all offices are open to the public and your local Adult Social Care team may not be your closest office geographically. You are, therefore, advised to telephone or email in the first instance.

If you're concerned about an adult, contact our safeguarding team.

Christmas opening hours

Residential and home care services operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Adult Social Care offices will be closed on Christmas Day (Wednesday 25 December), Boxing Day (Thursday 26 December) and New Year's Day (Wednesday 1 January). Contact the social care out of hours emergency service (01228 526690), 24-hours a day, for adult social care emergencies. 

Adult Social Care operating hours

Please contact your local Adult Social Care office at the following times:

Monday to Thursday: 9am to 5pm
Friday:  9am to 4.30pm

At all other times (including bank holidays) please contact the Emergency Duty Team.
