We are an independent Domiciliary Care Service and Employment Agency, owned by a Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse with years of first-hand experience. Though registered in 2022, our management has 10 years’ experience in the sector. The director is an enthusiastic and well-motivated Community Learning Disability Nurse, with experience in promoting and facilitating effective health care for individuals with learning disabilities and / or Autism. She is trained and experienced in delivering relevant person-centred care with respect, empathy, understanding to carry out assessments and care planning for residents and their families both in the community and hospital settings.
This unique background means she knows the quality of care needed to be delivered, what practices work and what manner of staff are needed to deliver these effectively.
She is also the Registered Manager of the company and ensures residents receive quality care at their homes and staff are well trained and supported whilst delivering care. She’s in charge of day-to-day operations of the organisation. We have invested in developing safeguards, audit systems as well as policies and procedures which will facilitate meeting the outcomes of the residents.
Our philosophy of care is centred around Person Centered Care theory by McCormack and McCance (2010). The research guidance focuses on the attributes of staff and are considered the key building blocks in the development of health-care professionals who can deliver effective person-centred care. Attributes include being professionally competent, having developed interpersonal skills, being committed to the job, being able to demonstrate clarity of beliefs and values. Relating this to the service we deliver - we focus on the continuous learning and development of our staff and workers, to enabling them to acquire knowledge and skills necessary in providing effective care in order to deliver person-centred outcomes. We work in partnership with our clients and their families, putting the individual at the centre of the care we provide, supporting them to make informed decisions about their care and treatment options to maximise their health and wellbeing.
The quality of our care team is a vital part of our service; we work to understand the needs of our clients. That is why we are so meticulous when it comes to recruiting candidates. Every member of our staff is friendly, professional and reliable, instantly putting you at ease and enabling you to have confidence in their ability to provide you with the support and assistance you need.
‘Thank you for your staffing services to our home, helping us to cover our rota gaps whenever needed and in emergency times. We cannot thank you enough for all your help and the staff we received were all brilliant at all times.’
‘I really appreciate your staff, especially those who cared for my dad for the last six months. Though for a short time, the care he received was exceptional. His personal hygiene was excellent each time we visited, and as a family we could not help but notice all the little things your team did for our dad. We say a big thank you to your team who cared for dad.’
‘We would like to thank the staff who came to care for Dad in the most compassionate and caring manner. They should be very proud of how they conduct themselves.’
