CEL Homecare are a relatively small independent specialist home care provider. Overall, we have approximately 95 service users and deliver around 1,000 weekly care hours. We have two CQC registered offices, in one in Warwick Bridge, and one in Consett, Co. Durham.
Our Warwick Bridge (Carlisle) Office manages our care provision to approximately 40 of our clients, delivering over 400 weekly care hours with a full-time, part-time and bank care team of around 20 care workers.
We are predominantly a rural service in the West of our operations and the customers we support from our office in Cumberland live from Haltwhistle in the East to Currock, Carlisle in West.
The majority of our support is however concentrated in the Brampton and Warwick Bridge, and surrounding areas. We support both commissioned service users and have a number of local privately funded clients.
“I would like to say how impressed I am with the care given to my Parents by CEL Homecare. The Carers are always friendly and helpful and often go above and beyond what I would expect from them. They have helped when my father had falls and stayed with my mum until someone has arrived to take over looking after her. They also talked to our Social worker when we were unable to stress the importance of some issues their expertise helped to find my mother a place in a care home.”
“The CEL team delivered Mum’s care maintaining a professional standard whilst simultaneously and consistently providing friendly support for Mum. Mum did not like change; new faces and routines were difficult for her, however, following transition from local authority reablement care, the staff at CEL rapidly became ‘her girls’ which she relied upon help with daily domestic routines, but also importantly as an integral part of her social network and she looked forward to eagerly to their visits. The CEL team also kept me informed of daily visits via online diaries. they were also an invaluable source of support and information to me and my family and were often our go-to source of practical information about caring for an elderly relative when other parts of the social care system were slow to respond. Professional, compassionate and efficient.”
“As a family finding the right care can be so very stressful when it's for a family member. I just wanted to send my thanks for the amazing kind and efficient staff that come to care for him. Nothing is any trouble to them and the compassion they show to him is outstanding. As a family we have now been able to actually go on holiday and have the peace of mind that he is so well cared for. This has helped us take the time out and relax as a family. I really appreciate all the hard work. Also, a massive thank you to for everything you always keep me so well informed if there is ever an issue. The communication from you is brilliant and the fact when he hasn't been himself and the staff have reported to you that you take your time out while I'm working away to call the doctors is making g me working away do much easier. You and your team are absolutely amazing I don't know where we would be without you all.”
