We can offer a comfortable and safe environment in our purpose-built home. The home is staffed by experienced and qualified people who understand the complex care needs of residents.

We have:

• a lovely conservatory
• spacious garden areas
• a hairdresser that visits monthly

Activities

Our ethos at Park lodge is to promote a home from home feel and we are aware of the many benefits to activities both physically and emotionally. Some of the activities that we make available to our residents include:

• playing Dominoes and Bingo and card games and crafts with an objective to promote health and wellbeing
• going on shopping trips
• joining in with church services every first Wednesday of the month held in the home.  
• dining out in local restaurants 
• general local sightseeing trips example: Christmas lights and going for homemade ice creams 
• regular entertainers and music (for example - vocalists)

Our team

We have a dedicated team of staff to help our residents every need. From the support workers to the kitchen staff, everyone who supports the running of the home is passionate about what they do and the important role we all have to play in making Park lodge a lovely home to stay in. From our carers to cooks, staff in our home are here to deliver high quality care and services to those we support. 

Food

Our cooks have many years of experience catering for the elderly. They strive to make sure that each service user has a say in what appears on the menu and that our food is cooked in a traditional homely manner.

Our cooks have qualifications in nutrition, so catering for specialist diets is no problem. They also love baking, so there are cakes available daily for those service users who fancy a treat. We also arrange takeaway lunches for our residents where we order a firm favourite of fish and chips, Chinese, Indian or pizza is also available to arrange.
