Activities
Here at Richmond Park we deliver a wide range of activities to our residents including craft sessions, dominoes, bingo, quizzes and card games. We also have armchair exercises and regular entertainment. This includes:
- arm chair aerobics weekly provided by an instructor from the local sports centre
- reminiscence hour Memory Lane sessions with Shirley Rodney
- hair and beauty salon, where we work closely with Lakes collage and students will attend to provide beauty treatments
- craft sessions
- film afternoons
- music therapy sessions
- external entertainers
- themed taster sessions - delivered by our local supermarkets representatives
- monthly service provided by the local church

All the staff work well as a team and are incredibly kind, caring and professional, promoting a friendly, happy, homely atmosphere - while also providing the highest standards of person centered care
Food
Our cooks are exceptional, they are experienced and well trained especially in dietary requirements for the elderly.
The cooks engage with residents and staff to understand resident's food and drink preferences and develop menus that reflect those preferences with a variety and balanced wholesome diet to meet varying nutritional requirements. They also love baking, so there are cakes available daily for those service users who fancy a treat.
