There's a regular 30 minute bus service to Whitehaven.

Reading groups

Monday - reading group 10am to 12pm (second Monday of the month).

Thursday - reading group 2pm to 4pm (second Thursday of the month).

Reading groups are subject to change and best to contact the library direct

Activities

Jigsaw

Friday Jig. Join us every Friday while we are open, for a communal jigsaw experience. Drop-in and pop in some pieces, while soaking up our warm and inviting environment.  

When:  Every Friday 9am to 5pm

Board games

Drop in to play board games - for all ages (children to be accompanied by adults). 

When: Every Saturday 10.15am to 11.45am

Tech Time

Bring along your laptop tablet or phone to learn the basics and discover new things for 1 to 1 sessions. Booking is essential, to book call 01946 505585.

When: Fortnightly on Friday mornings 10am to 12pm 

Health and wellbeing support

This library provides dementia resource bags - these are aimed for use at home with individuals or family members affected by dementia to promote reminiscence or discussions.
