How to get here

The library is just off the main street.

There is limited parking on the road adjacent to the library. Other car parks are nearby. 

2 hourly buses between Cockermouth and Keswick (the X4 and X5). The bus station is approximately 200 yards from library.

Join us for some fun and competitive board gaming. Drop-in anytime. Suitable for all ages.

When: Every Thursday all day

Lego Club

Lego themed fun for children over 5. This is an unsupervised activity so parents and carers need to stay and join in with the construction work.

When: Every Wednesday 3:45pm to 4:45pm

Piece and quiet

Join us for a morning of putting jigsaws together. Drop-in anytime. Suitable for all ages.

When:  Every Friday 9.30am to 12pm

Mindful Monday

Colour yourself to calm. Join us every Monday for the soothing art of colouring.

When:  Every Monday 3pm to 4.30pm

Health and wellbeing support

This library provides dementia resource bags - these are aimed for use at home with individuals or family members affected by dementia to promote reminiscence or discussions.

Health and wellbeing coach drop-in

Support and guidance from a Cumberland Council Health and Wellbeing Coach.

When: Wednesday 9.30am to 11am

Books that can help with your health and wellbeing

Books can be recommended by GPs or other health professionals from the relevant Reading Well list.
