How to get here

The library is located in The Discovery Centre which houses both the Tourist Information and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Parking is in front of the building with allocated disabled parking bays.  

Bus every 2 hours to Wigton.  Community transport scheme twice weekly from requested stops.  Bus stop 100 yards,

Join us for some fun and competitive board gaming. Suitable for all ages.

When: Every Wednesday 1.30pm to 3.30pm

Lego Club

Lego themed fun for children over 5. This is an unsupervised activity so parents and carers need to stay and join in with the construction work.

When: Every Saturday 11am to 12pm

Piece and quiet

Join us for a morning of putting jigsaws together. Drop-in anytime. Suitable for all ages.

When:  Every Friday all day

Mindful Monday

Colour yourself to calm. Join us every Monday for the soothing art of colouring.

When:  Every Monday 2pm to 3.30pm

Health and wellbeing support

This library provides dementia resource bags these are aimed for use at home with individuals or family members affected by dementia to promote reminiscence or discussions.
