Order a topic or artefact box

We will send out a reminder email to order your boxes before the end of each term. You can order them at any time.

You can order a box online or by contacting the Library for School Services team.

If you're ordering for a private setting or an academy, you will need to pay for the boxes.

Delivery and collection dates

Deliveries for:

• Autumn term 2024 are from 4 September 2024
• Spring term 2025 are from 7 January 2025

Collections for:

• Autumn term 2024 are from 9 December 2024
• Spring term 2025 are from 24 March 2024

Topic and artefact box orders must be received by the end of each term for delivery during the first full week of the following term. Any orders received after this will be delivered from the second full week of term onwards.

Returning your box

You will need to have all boxes ready for collection and placed during the specified period. If you would like to keep your box for another term then get in touch with us.

What is included in the topic and artefact boxes

You can order any Key Stage books for all schools and private settings.

You can tailor your order to your children's needs.

Early year settings

Early year settings includes private nurseries and children centres.

You can order:

• artefact boxes aimed at Key Stage 1 and below
• tailored topic boxes

You can also book the Book Bus by contacting us.

Special schools

We can tailor topic boxes for:

• high interest and low ability reading
• children who prefer sensory books

You can also order Bag Books that are interactive to allow children to use their senses while following a story.
