Councillor Denise Rollo, Cumberland Council’s Executive Portfolio Holder for Sustainable, Resilient and Connected Places, is thrilled that Cumberland Council supports the Great Big Green Week. She added:
“Climate change poses a global threat, impacting us locally. This campaign urges us to consider our actions and join in tackling climate change. I applaud the grant recipients and encourage as many people as possible to get involved in the events taking place across the Cumberland patch. By working together, we can all make a difference and reduce our impact on the planet.”
