Libraries in Cumbria launch online survey to shape future of PC services.
Residents in Cumbria are invited to take part in a short survey launched today to help shape the future of PC services. By completing the survey, participants have the opportunity to win a £20 Amazon voucher as a token of appreciation for their contribution.
Participate in the survey and have your voice heard.
The survey will be open throughout the month of November, closing 5pm Thursday 30 November 2023.
The survey supports a review of PC usage across Cumberland Libraries and Westmorland and Furness Libraries. The feedback gathered will be invaluable in driving the library service’s continuous improvement efforts, enabling enhancement of the PC offer so it remains relevant and beneficial to users.
This survey provides an opportunity for residents to have their say in the library service's digital offerings, express their opinions on the current PC access and suggest any enhancements they would like to see.
Councillor Anne Quilter, Cumberland Council’s Executive Member for Vibrant and Healthy Places, said:
"In this digital age, our libraries are evolving to meet the changing needs of our communities. We understand the importance of staying customer-centric and relevant. By participating in this survey, you have the power to influence the future of our PC services, ensuring they align with your expectations. Let's work together to make our libraries even more valuable and tech-savvy hubs for all."
Cllr Virginia Taylor, Westmorland and Furness Council Cabinet Member for Sustainable Communities and Localities, said:
"Our libraries are at the heart of our communities, and this initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to improving our services. We value the opinion of everyone who uses our libraries - this survey is an excellent way for you to take part in shaping what PC services there’ll be in our libraries in the future."
