Cumberland Council is pleased to announce that it has invested £254,000 in a resurfacing initiative in Anthorn, which will benefit both residents and businesses in the area.
The project involved the successful completion of 15,415m2 of surface dressing, accompanied by 1,500m2 of 50mm inlay patching and 3,605m2 of 100mm overlay.
This resurfacing project will improve the durability and resilience of the roads in Anthorn. All road users will benefit from this improvement since it will enhance the overall road quality and make peoples journeys feel safer and more comfortable.
