Cumberland Council is continuing to improve the A5086 in Frizington, investing nearly £1 million in the project.
The council understand the impact these highway improvements have had on the community and apologises for any inconvenience caused; while stressing that these upgrades are essential to reduce future disruptions and enhance the quality of road infrastructure in Frizington.
The council is committed to minimising disruption as much as possible by working closely with local businesses and residents to maintain access and support business deliveries during the works.
