Cumberland Council is thrilled to announce an exciting partnership with The Rebuild Site CIC and its Carlisle Southern Link Road project.
The Rebuild Site aim to transform the construction industry by supporting local communities and encourage reusing and recycling construction materials.
This innovative collaboration promises to make a substantial impact on the environment while fostering community growth and resilience. The partnership was launched with the unveiling of a branded vehicle for the Rebuild Site CIC improving brand awareness in the area.

The Rebuild Site CIC has been at the forefront of promoting sustainable practices in the construction sector. By joining forces with Cumberland Council, they are set to implement programmes which will divert surplus construction materials from downcycling, repurposing supplies, and supporting local initiatives.
Key initiatives of the partnership:
