Cumberland Council would like to update residents and businesses of scheduled drainage works at High Knells, starting on Monday 4 March.
These works are scheduled to commence on Monday 4 March until Friday 8 March 2024, for a duration of up to five days, weather permitting. Works will be taking place between 8am and 4pm.
To enable the council to complete works safely, it will be necessary to close the road from Dykeside Cottage, High Knells, with a full diversion route being put in place.
If residents or businesses require access to their property, the council kindly request that this be discussed with the Traffic Marshal who will be on site during the works, please be aware that there may well be a short delay in accessing their properties.
Access will be maintained for emergency services during the works.
