We appreciate your continued patience as work progresses on Dalston Road and the Carlisle Southern Link Road project.
We are pleased to confirm that all of the utility diversions have now been safely undertaken on Dalston Road. As a result, our teams are now onsite in force and the construction of the roundabout is well underway. The kerbs are being installed and the drainage, road lighting and signage are also underway. The bridge deck lift will take place later this month. Throughout February, we will be surfacing the new roundabout.
Dalston Road is expected to reopen to traffic on Friday 28 February 2025.
While we understand the challenges this extended closure has caused, we do not anticipate any further delays. Thank you for your continued understanding and support as we deliver this important part of the project.
