As the cold months roll in, Cumberland Council is stepping up once again to help residents and businesses prepare for winter with its latest ‘Winter Ready’ campaign.

From icy roads to health tips, this year’s campaign is packed with all the tools for everyone to stay safe, warm, and well-prepared.

Whether it’s checking your car’s winter readiness, getting the latest on flu jabs, or making sure people know what to do if flooding strikes, Cumberland Council has all the bases covered! Head over to the council’s dedicated ‘Winter Ready’ webpages to find all the essentials in one place.

This year’s campaign reflects winter travel and weather preparations, along with up-to-date public health advice and guidance, plus a whole host of other useful information.

The campaign includes an ongoing programme of social media activity to help ensure everyone stays updated with the latest winter advice, including:
