We are looking to appoint a dynamic girls PE teacher with the potential to excel, to join a committed and successful department. We are a young, lively and friendly team who work closely together in a very supportive environment. Each member contributes to the development of the department by sharing responsibilities. We believe in working collaboratively and sharing best practice at every opportunity.
FTE: 0.6
We teach OCR AS and A2 Physical Education as well as GCSE and BTEC PE. We also value the role of leadership and pupils are given opportunities to study Sports Leaders and Step into Sport qualifications.
We have a proven track record for extracurricular activities; they include, hockey, netball, football, cricket, rugby, athletics, cross country, table tennis and badminton. All members of the department contribute fully to extra-curricular clubs and teams.
The post is suitable for an ECT as well as experienced teachers and offers and excellent opportunity to receive support through the school’s comprehensive ECT and CPD programme.
