Required from 15th April 2024. This is a fixed term part time position initially until August 2024 due to pupil numbers. The post will be 17.5 hours per week and the candidate will be required to work each morning.  

Salary : PCD5 £23,893 per annum pro rata (FTE 37 hpw) term time only plus 1 week INSET 

An exciting opportunity has arisen and the Governors of Gosforth C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-motivated teaching assistant to join our hard working and dedicated team. 
The successful candidate will: 

• Believe in an inclusive approach to education so that all learners are set high expectations and are challenged to achieve their best.
• Be willing to support the class teacher with planning, resourcing and assessment.
• Have experience of working with children with a range of special educational needs.
• Have good knowledge of the EYFS and KS1.
• Ensure that children are safe and secure in their school environment with an emphasis on their safeguarding needs. 
• Have good listening and behaviour management skills.
