Bransty Primary School are in search of an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong numeracy and literacy skills, hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification, and demonstrate proficiency in effective teaching and learning procedures.
30 hours per week term time
Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and challenging learning activities.
Foster a supportive and nurturing environment with high expectations for learning and behaviour.
Cultivate positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
Promote inclusivity and acceptance within the classroom.
Provide consistent support tailored to individual student needs.
Encourage independence and resilience in students
Can use own initiative when supporting pupils
Is confident to deliver small group interventions
Is nurturing, caring and patient
Has a willingness to access training
