Deputy Headteacher

Deputy Headteacher required from 1st September 2024

Due to the retirement of the current post holder, the governors of this highly successful school are looking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher who is committed to nursery and infant education. 

Ashfield Infant and Nursery School is situated in the town of Workington in close proximity to the Lake District National Park. We are an outstanding school (Ofsted 2018) and pride ourselves in the exceptional deliverance of quality education for all our children. Citizenship is embedded throughout, and the school promotes the skills and attitudes required for pupils to become independent, lifelong learners.

Our new Deputy Headteacher will be someone who:
• Is an excellent classroom practitioner
• Has experience of middle or senior leadership in the primary phase

•  Is committed to providing all children with a strong start to their educational journey
