Executive Headteacher

Required for September 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The Governing Body of Cleator Moor Nursery School is seeking to recruit an ambitious and enthusiastic Executive Headteacher to lead the school forward, maintain stability and provide the best possible care and educational opportunities for ALL the children attending our setting.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to make a real difference.  You will need to be resilient, creative and show us that you know how to develop a school to be the absolute best for its pupils, families, staff and local community.

As a Nursery school we strive to provide a safe and friendly environment where happy children play and learn.  The Nursery school has a committed Governing Body who will work with the Executive Headteacher to take the school forward.

We are looking for an experienced leader who will
- have an in-depth knowledge of the EYFS and a clear understanding of how children become effective learners 
- develop independence and resilience amongst all our children by encouraging a ‘have -a go’ attitude
- work closely with parents and the wider community

Applicants must be able to demonstrate an in-principle agreement to undertaking the Executive Headship role with their current Governing Body
