Due to the promotion of the current postholder, we have an exciting opportunity for a new deputy head to join our leadership team.

 At Stanwix, our passion for supporting our children and their families is grounded in the sense of community that the school is at the heart of.

Stanwix School was rated “Good” at our last inspection in 2023 and inspectors stated that, “Pupils benefit from the strong community spirit that leaders have established at the school. Pupils are friendly and polite, and they provide a warm welcome to new pupils that join the school”.

The Governors and Trustees would like to extend that warm welcome to a new deputy and are looking for an innovative, passionate, and dedicated individual to fill this key leadership role. The ideal candidate will be ambitious and share our community, education and school values. They will be a strong teaching practitioner and have a proven track record of leadership, motivating change and inspiring excellence in both staff and pupils.

It is an exciting time to be a key member of our leadership team, joining us as we shape the future vision for the school. Our staff are our most important asset, and this role will help to shape and promote a culture of clear leadership and best practice that champions their work. We are looking for a practitioner that maximises our school performance and ensures our children are inclusively supported to attain and achieve their very best.
