Due to an increase in pupil numbers in Key Stage 1, the Governors of St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School in Wigton are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, hardworking and passionate teacher to join our thriving school on a fixed-term basis from the start of September 2024.  

We are looking to appoint a caring and highly motivated teacher who
•    has a sound knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
•    is a positive role model to pupils and other staff, demonstrating high levels of motivation and enthusiasm
•     works very well as part of team
•     has high expectations for achievement and behaviour
•     works creatively to provide high-quality learning opportunities for pupils
•    is able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
•    will support and promote the Catholic ethos of the school.

St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its pupils and expects all staff to adhere to this. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure and references will be sought.
