TEACHER OF PE
Permanent; 0.8 FTE

Required from September 2024, an outstanding, well-qualified, enthusiastic and energetic PE teacher. This is a great opportunity that would suit newly-qualified or more experienced practitioners alike.

Football, rugby and athletics specialisms would be particularly desirable, as well as the ability to deliver GCSE PE and/or A-level PE. 

The Nelson Thomlinson School is a highly successful and popular school located on the fringes of the Lake District National Park. The PE department has a long and successful history of sporting excellence in a wide range of school sports.

The successful candidate will be expected to play a full and active role in the continuation of this success as well as delivering the highest standards and outcomes in PE at KS3, GCSE and/or A level. A commitment to extra-curricular clubs and activities is essential.
