We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of  Computer Science to join this very successful 11-18 school, situated on the fringe of the Lake District National Park. The post will commence on 1 September 2024.  

The Computer Science Department at Cockermouth School is 
successful and innovative with well-resourced teaching facilities. All students study Computer Science in Key Stage 3.  We offer Computer Science and iMedia at GCSE and Computer Science at A level.  We have good links with local universities and our students achieve highly, with many progressing the subject through higher education. Our former students regularly report that their A level experience was an excellent preparation for undergraduate study and are keen to share their career progression with us.  

We are looking for a strong candidate with a passion for the subject who is looking to share their expertise and develop their practice further.
