2x Teachers

2 X Temporary Ks2 Class Teachers – Full Time
(1 post LKS2 & 1 post UKS2)

Required from 1st September 2024 for one year initially due to fluctuating pupil numbers.
The children, staff and governors of Burgh-by-Sands School are seeking to appoint 2 committed, enthusiastic and highly motivated teachers to join our wonderful, dedicated team.

There are 2 roles available – one in a mixed Year 3/4 class and one in a mixed Year 5/6class.

The successful candidates will have:
•    QTS and have demonstrated professionalism and high standards
•    Excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management skills;
•    Set high expectations of all pupils and are committed to creating a stimulating classroom environment;
•    Demonstrate a passion for education and are able to demonstrate consistently good and outstanding classroom practice;
•    Have excellent communication skills (and are able to deploy support staff effectively);
•    Can inspire, motivate and work effectively in a team;
•    Sees each child as an individual and is able to develop their strengths both academically and socially;
•    Is enthusiastic and nurturing;
•    Work as part of a team with colleagues, families and the Governing Body;
•    The ability to support children of all abilities, through inclusive practice.
•    The ability to provide memorable learning experiences with rigorous teaching of basic skills;
•    Will communicate effectively and form positive relationships with pupils and families
