Fixed Term, Part Time (0.5) Class Teacher

The Children, staff and governors of Beckermet C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint a committed, inspirational teacher to join our wonderful, dedicated team ideally from 6th January 2025. The post will be initially until 31st August 2025 due to budget constraints and fluctuating pupil numbers.

MPR depending on relevant experience

The person appointed will also be able to take on the responsibility of leading a subject with the support of the Senior Leadership Team.

•    Excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management skills;
•    High expectations of all pupils and is committed to creating a stimulating classroom environment;
•    The ability to enthuse all children to learn and understands what is required to secure outstanding progress;
•    A passion for education and is able to demonstrate consistently good and outstanding classroom practice;
•    Excellent communication skills at all levels (and is able to deploy support staff effectively);
•    The ability to inspire, motivate and work effectively in a team;
•    Great creativity and knows how to support children to become independent, persevere with challenges and present their work to a high standard;
•    A belief in the development of the whole child;
•    The ability to support children of all abilities, through inclusive practice.
