Fixed Term Part Time Teaching Assistant
Required from 4th November or as close to this date as possible. This is a fixed term position initially until 31st August 2025 due to being attached to a child . The post will be discussed further during the recruitment process.
Salary : PCD5 £23,893 per annum pro rata (FTE 37 hpw) term time only/ £12.38 per hour
17.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen and the Governors of Gosforth C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-motivated teaching assistant to join our hard working and dedicated team.
The successful candidate will:
• Believe in an inclusive approach to education so that all learners are set high expectations and are challenged to achieve their best.
• Be willing to support the class teacher with planning, resourcing and assessment.
• Have experience of working with children with a range of special educational needs.
• Have good knowledge of the EYFS and KS1.
• Ensure that children are safe and secure in their school environment with an emphasis on their safeguarding needs.
• Have good listening and behaviour management skills.
