The Ideal Candidate: We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and visionary leader with an open, supportive and engaging management style to lead our fantastic school. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar sized school and be committed to upholding the school's values and ethos. They will be confident in leading and shaping a new vision for the school that focuses on inclusivity and academic excellence whilst promoting a culture of recognition, continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Provide strategic leadership and management of the school.
•    Drive the development and implementation of educational policies and practices.
•    Foster a positive, safe and inclusive school environment that supports the well-being and development of pupils and staff.
•    Ensure compliance with all aspects of running an academy
•    Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and achievement.
•    Manage school resources effectively and efficiently.
•    Develop positive partnerships and provide effective communications with all stakeholders including staff; parents/carers; governors, local and national partners as well as the wider community
 
Essential Requirements:
•    Confident leader, able to motivate and inspire the school community.
•    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and significant experience in a senior leadership role within a school setting.
•    Extensive experience of working in a similar sized school, preferably in a leadership capacity
•    Proven track record of driving school improvement and raising educational standards.
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
•    Excellent organisational and management abilities.
•    Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.
•    Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
•    Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices.
•    Ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse school community.

Desirable Criteria
•     A strong working knowledge of National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) or working towards 
•    the requirements for compliance in running an academy
