Temporary Part time Senior Teaching Assistant
(Jan 2025 – July 2025 initially, dependent on number on roll in the new academic year)

The Governors of Parkview Nursery School are looking to appoint a temporary part time Senior Teaching Assistant.

PCD7 (£26421(A) pro rata per annum) 29.75 hours a week, term time only

We have a vacancy for a positive and enthusiastic Senior Teaching Assistant who will support the learning and development of all the children in this open plan Nursery School and take responsibility as a Key Person for a small group of children.  As a Key Person the successful candidate will build up a close relationship with the children and their families, plan and deliver short focused activities, assess and document the children’s learning and liaise with parents.

We are looking for someone who:
•    Has a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years, good Maths and English skills and recent experience of working with young children.
•    Enjoys working with children and can form positive and supportive relationships with children, colleagues and parents
•    Values play as an important learning tool
•    Can be flexible and is able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team.
•    Has experience of contributing to planning, monitoring and assessing pupils
