Newlaithes Junior School is seeking an experienced and passionate Class Teacher who will also take on the role of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo).

The Role:
As the Year 4 Class Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic achievement and personal development.
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using this information to inform your teaching.
As the SENDCo, you will:
- Lead and manage the provision for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities across the school.
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure tailored support for pupils with additional needs.
- Oversee the development and implementation of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and ensure the best outcomes for SEND pupils.

What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- SENDCo qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Proven experience in teaching Key Stage 2.
- Experience or knowledge of supporting pupils with SEND.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive school ethos.
