Partly cloudy this afternoon. Dry for many areas, with a showery mix of isolated rain and wet snow towards the south. Patchy cloud cover this evening and tonight, with clearer spells developing at times. Scattered snow showers, mixing with rain at times, will spread in from the north-west this evening, becoming drier overnight. RSTs below zero, with a risk of hoar frost and ice. Generally dry and bright tomorrow morning, with RSTs slow to recover. A risk of showers develops towards midday.

Confidence is a little reduced due to uncertainty in the coverage and intensity of snow showers tonight.
