Year 5/6 Teacher - Maternity Cover

Required to start March 2025 for 12 months

St Bridget's CE Primary school is a very happy, family orientated school which values every child placed in its care. It has well established staff  who work effectively as a team to deliver a high standard of education for all children.

We are seeking to appoint to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and conscientious teacher to join our dedicated staff to teach Year 5/6 full time on a maternity contract.

The successful candidate will:
•    Be fully supportive and committed to the Christian vision and ethos of the school.
•    Be an excellent and innovative classroom practitioner.
•    Have good knowledge of the National Curriculum and Year 6 Sats
•    Have experience of teaching mixed aged and mixed ability classes.
•    High expectations whilst creating an exclusive environment which enables all children to reach their full potential.
•    A positive and inclusive approach to behaviour management and SEND
•    Have an ability to foster good relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues and other professionals.
•    Be willing to play an active role in the wider school life and local community.
