Ennerdale and Kinniside CE School is a unique, small rural school with a deep sense of community and a commitment to ensuring the wellbeing of every child. We are nestled in a beautiful village surrounded by farms, forests and an abundance of fresh air.
We are a close-knit, family-oriented school where every child is known, valued, and supported. We have a dedicated team of staff who share a passion for providing the best possible education and school life for our pupils.

We are looking for an inspirational, committed, and enthusiastic Headteacher:-
• who puts children at the forefront of everything they do;
• to support, maintain and nurture our caring Christian community and ethos;
• with excellent communication skills, to foster strong relationships with our children, staff, parents, governors and the local community;
• who is able to lead us creatively and courageously;
• who is forward thinking; and
• with an ambition to raise standards in teaching and learning, whilst helping our pupils and staff to reach their full potential.
Our children would like a Headteacher who is:-
• friendly, joyful and happy;
• has a good personality and sense of humour;
• not too strict but not too laidback;
• always willing to help them;
• able to have fun and also sensible;
• can persevere;
• is creative;
• willing to be involved with trips; and
• able to interact well with children.
The successful candidate will have an expected maximum 0.6 teaching commitment.
