Early Years Childcare Practitioner

It is an exciting time for Frizington Nursery School and Preschool as we continue to grow and expand our early education for 0-3’s. 

We seeking to employ a permanent Early Years Childcare Practitioner who is friendly, enthusiastic and passionate about working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage. This post will require you to work in our Preschool Classroom which caters for children from the ages of 9months to 3 years old and will commence as soon as possible. 

We are always looking to develop practitioner’s continuous professional development here at Frizington Nursery School and welcome applications from level 2 upwards and we will support practitioners in their next stage of development. 
 
PCD3 £24,027 (A) pro rota for a level 2 position - PCD5 £25,183 pro rota for a level 3 position This post if for a full year position, however we would consider term time only for the right candidate.  25hrs per week, overtime may available, however we will consider applications for part-time hours 16+. 

The suitable candidate must have:
•    NVQ Level 2 or equivalent  
•    GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
The successful candidate must also be able to:
•    Work constructively as part of a team
•    Liaise effectively with staff and parents
•    Promote inclusion of all pupils within the Early Years classrooms
•    Show initiative and hold high expectations for pupils
•    Display a professional attitude at all times and desire to continue their professional development
•    Demonstrate their experience of working in the Early Years Foundation Stage
•    Have excellent communication skills
